We wanted to have an event focusing on one theme which would showcase the diversity, fine craftsmanship and the creative excellence of the American craftsperson.

Cedar Creek Gallery invited 80 craftspeople who we felt had achieved a high degree of excellence in the body of work that they had produced. We then asked the craftspeople that we had invited to invite other craftspersons that they felt should be in the show.

There are 40 states represented and 210 teapots were received from 140 craftspeople

There were four, one thousand dollar awards of excellence which were furnished by Cedar Creek Gallery.

Although acquisition of the pieces will be allowed, all will stay together in the show until its conclusion on September 5, 1999

We truly hope you enjoy this awe inspiring collection of fine work as much as we have.
