Dear Friends of Cedar Creek:

Join us for our 42^nd Annual Fall Festival of Pottery and Glass the first two weekends of October, Saturday and Sunday, October 3^rd and 4^th and 10^th and 11^th.  The first chance to see and buy all the new work will be at the Friday Night Gala from 6 to 10pm October 2^nd. 

There is so much new work arriving!  Jennifer and I spent the summer talking with lots of our old favorite artists and a plethora of artists new to Cedar Creek.   They all agreed to send their best work for us to share with you.  Look for new pottery, wood, glass, handbags, jewelry, soaps, rugs and pillows, and more. 

Demonstrations, kiln firings, kiln openings and live music will be going on both weekends.  Expect to see glass blowing, pottery, wood turning and silversmithing.  The schedule of events has a complete listing of what will be happening and when.

Think Outside the Box opens Friday, October 2^nd at 6pm.  Thirty artists will show us how they interpret what Merriam-Webster defines as “a rigid typically rectangular container with or without a cover”.   These boxes are wonderful vessels in a wide variety of designs, sizes, and feeling.  Whether you need a box to hold jewelry, love letters or toothpicks you are likely to find a box to your liking here.

All pottery and glass by our resident artists will be 20% off during the festival.  Bring a dessert or appetizer to share with us during the festival and we will give you a $10 gift certificate towards whatever you like in the gallery.    

Thank you for supporting Cedar Creek Gallery, the potters and glass blowers that have our studios here and the talented artists that send their work to us from across the United States.  More than 70% of the money that is spent at Cedar Creek stays right here in North Carolina.
