Alan Bennett info
Alan and Rosemary started their business in 1986 and have worked as full time clay artists in Bath, New York since 1990. They have both shown their work nationally and internationally.

Alan has 25 years of various ceramic business activities as well as experience in higher education, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses
1990-2005 Chief Operating Officer, Alan and Rosemary Bennett Clay Studio, Bath, New York. Designs, produces, and markets clay sculpture pieces, which are sold directly to individuals and to galleries throughout the United States and Internationally.
1987-1990 Instructor, Mercer County Community College, Trenton, New Jersey. Taught courses in Basic Drawing, Life Drawing and 2-D Design.
1985-1987 Head Designer and Ceramic Engineer, El Palomar, Jalisco, Mexico. Designed new lines of dinnerware for Japan, Europe, and North America. Solved technical problems and developed new unleaded glazes, and implemented a safer work environment for 100 employees,
1984-1988 Instructor, Rancho Santiago College, Santa Ana, California. Taught Life Sculpture, Life Drawing and Basic Studio Art Courses
1980-1984 Instructor, Utah State University, Logan, Utah. Taught Undergraduate and graduate ceramics courses on topics including glaze and clay calculation, kiln building and drawing.
