Join us the first two weekends of October for our 45th Annual Fall Pottery and Glass Festival. Wander up the paths, through the gardens and along the way watch the artists' demonstrations. Visit the nursery for a great selection of plants, relax at one of our many seating areas while enjoying a snack from an on-site food truck, and in the gallery select from works of over 200 local, regional and national artists.
One of the things that sets Cedar Creek Gallery apart from other places that sell fine craft is that much of the work you see in the gallery is actually made on the premises. We started as a studio for two potters. Now, over 40 years later, more than twelve artists work in the studios surrounding the gallery. Each one of them operates their own independent small business, making pottery, blown glass or jewelry.
It is fascinating to watch these crafts being made and we get many requests to see the artists working. However, the creative process requires a certain amount of solitude and focus and the artists spend most of their days quietly working alone in their studios.
Twice a year, during the first two weekends in April and October, we hold an open house at the gallery, the Spring and Fall Pottery and Glass Festivals. During these festive weekends, the artists open their studios and invite the public in to see what they make and how it's made. Guest artists bring their work and share their creative process.
For specific demonstration times and dates check our Schedule of Events.
We hope you enjoy your visit!
